Deals In : The Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee, Sri Amritsar decided to start BDS course in Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Dental Sciences & Research, Sri Amritsar in the year 1992 by constituting a Trust namely Sri Guru Ram Das Charitable Hospital Trust which was formed on 15.12.1992. Now, this institute is affiliated with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot w.e.f. 1.7.1999. Subsequently Dental Council of India accorded its recognition for BDS degree to be awarded by Guru Nanak Dev University., Amritsar from the year 1996 and Govt. of India also recognized the same vide Govt. of India Notification no.
